We believe a summer is a golden opportunity for teens to explore their budding intellectual capabilities in discovering Judaism while at the same time having a tremendous amount of fun. A summer at Chabad's Adventure Teen Program will offer an opportunity for local teens to experience what being Jewish means to them and come away with a new perspective on who they are and what their heritage is about.

Whether the campers are out horseback riding, riding a roller coaster, swimming, receiving cake decorating lessons, shaping six-braided challahs, or taking pointers from a recognized makeup artist, each activity at CGI Teen Camp ties into the summer’s theme, “Spotlight on the real role-models.”

Deep as the goals of the camp are, not a single formal learning session is scheduled to drive home the point. When learning about the matriarch Sarah the girls will camp out in tents with cookout goodies on an overnight under the stars. The campers will experience what it was like to live in a tent and the depth of character it took for Sarah to look at dust-encrusted travelers and find them worthy of being sheltered and fed.
