2020 has been a year of unfathomable change.
2021 can be a year of unprecedented wonders.
Chabad is family, and that doesn't stop just because we may be physically distant. This has been a year of finding new ways to connect, show love and support. With your help we adapted and expanded, providing individual support (physical, emotional, spiritual) to anyone in need, classes on zoom and growing a network of compelled, kind individuals, coming together to build a strong, life-giving Jewish community. Each week volunteers prepare and deliver lovely gift packages of Shabbat or Holiday essentials - challah, candles, flowers, and a warm homemade dinner to homes around Solano County, nurturing and igniting the Jewish soul. Each meal is a statement of love and support from all of you and a way of letting our community members know that they are not alone. As each one is hand-delivered new connections form and support is expanded.
Through unwavering community support in the last years, a magnificent model Jewish home of gathering was built. In response to the times we are living in, opening new doors is the need of the hour. With physical distancing required, hundreds of Jews in Solano County are being helped to bring their Judaism Home! In 2021 you can help each home be equipped as a space where one can pray to G‑d for one's needs, study and review Torah and from where charity and acts of lovingkindness emerge to assist people who need help. The Don and Fran Bond Judaic Gift Shop, Sillen and Rubinstein Family Library, and the Rosner Family Judaic Resource Fund are expanding! Through these means, every Jewish home can be provided with the daily essentials books and items needed to pray, learn and live Jewish, at home!
Now, more than ever, is your chance to partner in providing life giving support or bringing purpose, meaning and vital connection to our community. We will continue to find new ways to come together and thrive because the flame of the Jewish spirit continues to shine. whatever the circumstances. It is only with your help that we've gotten this far b"h, and we're going to need your help to continue. So many of our friends and supporters are struggling right now. We don't know what the coming months will bring but whatever it looks like, we will continue to be here for everyone who turns to us and look for new ways to engage and support.
