Chabad Solano is dedicated to serving the spiritual and material needs of all of Solano County's Jews, regardless of affiliation. Inspired & guided by the vision of the Rebbe, for years we have worked within this beautiful community, and we have experienced firsthand the warmth and compassion so unique to the individuals that live here. Watching our town grow and progress, it is our goal to preserve that spirit; to ensure that the life, love and learning so central to Judaism will continue to thrive in Solano for years to come. To make that happen, we’ve purchased and started renovating a large, permanent home, the new Chabad Solano Center for Jewish Life- and we’d like you to be part of it.
Phase 1 of our new center’s construction was completed earlier this year. After purchasing a large, centrally located property in 2014, we began working with architects and engineers to ensure a home that would suit all the needs of the community for many years to come. As of 2015 we’ve received county approval to begin all work, and we completed construction of our exquisitely furnished Judy Stein Sanctuary, delightful Erik Alexander Fuch's children's room and lobby. The $234K raised here will be enough for us to continue with Construction Phases 2, 3 & 4, and go a long way in enabling us to complete the remainder of our building. Phase 2 includes the mikvah & new restrooms; Phase 3, the social hall & kitchen; Phase 4 the library, lounge and offices, all before 2017, G-d willing!
