Imagine a Hebrew School where kids don’t want to miss a day. They come in with a smile and leave humming a Jewish song. Picture a group of Jewish children engaged in lively discussion, singing, laughter and prayer. Welcome to Chabad Hebrew School!
We want our students to connect with Judaism because they find the lessons are intellectual, relevant and joyful. Bulk of time may be spent with inspiration, feeling, not skills to enhance Jewish connection.
We plan to equip students with knowledge, experiences and social support.

Mission Statement
The mission of Chabad Hebrew School is to create an environment in which a student is welcomed and comfortable irrespective of his/her personal background, and in which Torah/Jewish tradition is absorbed through an experiential, approachable and relevant presentation.
The students and their families will also benefit from a system for Social Support, in which the family‐school connection is activated and empowered to scaffold/grow a child’s Judaic lessons. We encourage you, as a parent, to get involved, ask questions and keep in touch with our school. If there is anything you would ever like to discuss with me, feel free to call me at 707-592-5330
With triangular input from the student, school and home, we hope to inspire a [strengthened] sense of Jewish identity and an actualized desire to acquire Judaic skills to facilitate long term involvement in the Jewish Community. We hope that by year’s end, along with the Aleph‐Bet, the holiday learning, and Hebrew literacy, your child will have developed a deep love and respect for our precious heritage.
Our Approach
At our Hebrew School, we strive to stress the beauty and warmth of Judaism and its Mitzvot (precepts). With our unique educational approach our students are able to explore and discover the beauty of their heritage, in an atmosphere of joy and warmth.
Many children are out of touch with an entity that has preserved us for thousands of years, an entity of beauty and deep significance and one which is inherently their own. At our Hebrew School, an area of particular emphasis is in the inculcation of Jewish values and ethics. Mutual tolerance and respect for fellow human beings are taught as basic principles of the Jewish faith.
